A streak should measure showing up, not punish a rest day. Kaizen's streaks are schedule-aware: they only judge the days you planned, and today stays open until it actually ends.

Three ways to schedule a habit
Not every habit is a daily habit. Pick the rhythm that fits, and change it later without losing history: streaks are simply recalculated.

The classic. Every day counts.

Pick the exact weekdays, like Mon/Wed/Fri for the gym.
Per week
A target like 3 times per week, counted within your own week start.
Reminders that never nag
Set an optional reminder time per habit. It skips days the habit is not scheduled, stays quiet once you have checked off or skipped, and never sends more than one push per habit per day.
