Streaks

Streaks that forgive, so you keep going

A streak should measure showing up, not punish a rest day. Kaizen's streaks are schedule-aware: they only judge the days you planned, and today stays open until it actually ends.
  • Streaks follow your schedule
    A Mon/Wed/Fri habit can never break on a Tuesday. Off days bridge the chain silently.
  • Skip without losing it
    Mark a planned rest day as skipped and the streak survives. A skip is not a miss.
  • Today stays open
    An unfinished day never counts against you while it is still in progress. Same for open weeks.
  • Backdate honestly
    Forgot to log? Tap any past day in the history to fix it. Unlimited, and free.

Three ways to schedule a habit

Not every habit is a daily habit. Pick the rhythm that fits, and change it later without losing history: streaks are simply recalculated.
Daily
The classic. Every day counts.
Set days
Pick the exact weekdays, like Mon/Wed/Fri for the gym.
Per week
A target like 3 times per week, counted within your own week start.
Reminders that never nag
Set an optional reminder time per habit. It skips days the habit is not scheduled, stays quiet once you have checked off or skipped, and never sends more than one push per habit per day.
